Workforce Development

Mobile Classrooms

Peninsula College will soon be running mobile classrooms, designed to bring skilled trades such as welding, marine technology, and construction to remote communities and work sites. These programs will be flexible in response to your needs as an employer.

Are there technical skills or qualifications that would help you recruit or promote staff? Please fill out the Mobile Training Needs Survey and Peninsula College will be in touch about bringing mobile training to you.

Customized Training Certificates

Peninsula College's Community Education program offers Customized Training Certificates to meet your staffing qualification needs.

Jefferson County Workforce Development

EDC Team Jefferson has hired a full-time coordinator dedicated to building a strong workforce backbone in Jefferson County. By listening to employer needs, analyzing local labor data, and mapping training opportunities, we’re helping to connect and strengthen efforts that prepare people for good jobs.
