We recognize that finding employment can be a challenge when you're facing barriers like finding consistent childcare or transportation.

Our partner, Olympic Connect, is a community care hub that will pair you with a trusted helper who will help you get resources you need to thrive, including job connections, childcare, food, healthcare, and more.
Additional training can be the bridge to give you the skills you need for a good job.

Our educational partners are focusing on industry-specific training programs that offer short-term certificates to get you into the workforce with the skills you need as soon as possible.​
Recompete is investing in the local maritime, forest products, construction, and manufacturing industries.
​
These projects will expand current capacity, attract new businesses to the region, and ultimately create good local jobs in these industries.

A holistic approach
These programs are designed to work together to give you a holistic path to a good job. You can access one of these programs, or sign up for as many as you find helpful.

For example, you may be interested in a job skills training program and would also benefit from support services to help you achieve your goals. You can access Peninsula College's training programs and also Olympic Connect for resources like healthcare, food assistance, childcare, housing, and more.

The Recompete Coalition is also working together and can refer you to other services in our network. If you're not sure where to start, Olympic Connect is the community care hub to connect you with the people and resources to help you thrive.
